Car crashes into Page’s new ice cream truck in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH (WTAE) — Emergency crews responded to a crash at Page’s Dairy Mart on Pittsburgh’s South Side.
A car crashed into the ice cream shop’s new truck around 2:40 a.m. Tuesday.
Both the car and truck, which Page’s unveiled earlier this year, were damaged. Video from Page’s shows the crash, then a person getting out of the crashed car and running away.
Page’s released a statement on their social media following the crash, saying they are still assessing the damage.
“We worked so hard to bring that truck back to life, and we loved spending our first summer out on the road with it. To have something we put so much time, effort, and love into damaged by someone else’s reckless and careless actions is heartbreaking in more ways than one,” Their statement said, in part. “We’re hopeful that law enforcement will identify those responsible and hold them accountable to the fullest extent of the law.”
