MILWAUKEE (WISN) — Newborns at Aurora Health Care hospitals across Wisconsin joined the celebration of the Milwaukee Brewers’ first championship with commemorative onesies.
The blue-and-yellow onesies feature the message, “I’ve been waiting for this my whole life.” While many fans waited decades for the moment, these new arrivals joined the celebration right away.
Aurora distributed the onesies to its 11 labor and delivery units across the state, giving families two reasons to celebrate: a new bundle of joy and a Brewers championship.
Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center and Aurora Sinai Medical Center in Milwaukee also unveiled large inflatable baseball displays to celebrate the champions with the community. The displays are on the roofs of the Aurora St. Luke’s Skywalk, facing 27th Street, and Aurora Sinai, above 12th Street. They will remain visible for the next week.
