Firefighters battle Haven Fire near Quechan Road

(KYMA) – Firefighters battled a fire burning between Yuma and Imperial Counties this weekend.
According to Cal Fire, the fire happened in the area of Picacho and Yuma Road, near Quechan Road, before 10 p.m. Friday.
Cal Fire says the fire burned 15 acres, and according to our reporter at the scene, the fire appears to be extinguished, but says firefighters are on scene assessing hot spots.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
