School bus involved in Callaway County crash
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
A school bus was involved in a three-vehicle crash Tuesday morning in Callaway County, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred on westbound Highway 54 near County Road 240, just north of Kingdom City.
The report says a 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee – driven by a 40-year-old Fulton woman – hydroplaned, went off the right side of the road and hit a 2017 Ford Edge that was parked on the shoulder. The Ford was driven by a 34-year-old Auxvasse man.
The Jeep came back to the road, crossed the center line and hit a school bus, the report says. The bus was driven by a 57-year-old Holts Summit woman. All three people in the crash wore a seatbelt.
A 35-year-old woman in Auxvasse had minor injuries, while the Fulton driver had moderate injuries. Both were taken to University Hospital by ambulance.
