Election guide: How to cast your vote on Tuesday
EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) – Tuesday is the final day to cast your vote in the 2026 midterm elections. There are multiple ways you can make your voice heard before the final cutoff at 7 p.m.
The mail-in window has passed, so voters who haven’t cast their ballot will have to use one of the state’s ballot boxes or in-person polling sites.
To find your nearest polling station or ballot box, simply visit the Colorado Secretary of State’s website and enter your address.
If you already have your ballot filled out, you can simply drop it in the ballot box.
If you don’t have your ballot, need to register to vote, or just prefer to vote in person, polls will open statewide at 7 a.m. and remain open until the cutoff at 7 p.m. As long as you are in line before 7 p.m., your vote will count.
Poll workers will help new voters register at the in-person polling locations. You can also register online. New residents must have lived in Colorado for at least 22 days to be eligible to vote in the Colorado midterm election. Your ID can be from out of state, as long as you have been a Colorado resident for 22 or more days.
