Fischer Minerals files application to expand mine 40 acres in Callaway County

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Fischer Minerals LLC filed an application for a mine expansion in Callaway County, according to information from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
The application to the DNR was stamped with a Sept. 4 date. The DNR told ABC 17 News in an email that Fischer Minerals is expanding 40 acres for a total of 120 acres to mine limestone.
Fischer will expand from its current site.
