SICKLERVILLE, New Jersey (WPVI) — An assist and a goal, from sister to sister. A scoop and a tackle, from sister to sister.
Win or lose, it all comes in pairs for the field hockey team at Timber Creek Regional High School, which is loaded with 5 sets of siblings.
Many of the girls grew up together off the field and their families continue to spend time with each other. They have fond memories from camping trips, bonfires, pasta dinners and more.
They also spend time fundraising together, often trying to double dip for donations from the same family members.
One of the five sets of sisters also has a cousin on the team.
With 10 players and a goalie active at a time, it’s possible that each player has a relative on the field.
