Darren Criss to Headline Plaza Theatre Anniversary Concert
PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (KESQ) — Darren Criss will perform at the Palm Springs Plaza Theatre on Tuesday, Dec. 1, celebrating the first anniversary of the venue’s reopening and launching its 90th anniversary festivities.
Known for Glee, StarKid and Broadway’s Maybe Happy Ending, the Tony, Emmy and Golden Globe Award winner Criss will perform music spanning his career as a singer, songwriter and actor.
“One year ago, we brought the lights back on at The Plaza for the first time in more than a decade,” said John Bolton, the theatre’s general manager. “Celebrating with an artist of Darren’s range is exactly the kind of moment this theatre was restored for.”
The Plaza’s 2026–2027 season also features Mavis Staples, Margaret Cho, Bianca Del Rio, Lucie Arnaz and Family, and Kathy Griffin, who will launch her first-ever theatre residency in early 2027.
Tickets start at $49 and go on sale Friday, Oct. 23, at 10 a.m.
