Loya family to present gift for Downtown Deck Plaza

EL PASO, Texas (KVIA) — The Downtown Deck Plaza Foundation said it will will receive a gift from the Fred Loya family on Wednesday. The gift will go into the future 6.5-acre park over the I-10.
The foundation said the “transformational” gift will “mark a historic milestone in the once-in-a-generation opportunity to Elevate the 10 and create a community space for all in the heart of El Paso.”

Members of the Loya family, including CEO of Fred Loya Insurance Fred Loya Jr., will be at the gift announcement Wednesday in Downtown El Paso.
