The Columbia Police Department announced at 11 p.m. that officers responded to a crash scene on Interstate 70 near North Garth Road. The crash involved a motorcycle, police wrote.

Boone County Joint Communications announced the crash occurred near mile marker 126 at 10:39 p.m. At 10:51 p.m., joint communications sent a follow-up notification stating the westbound lanes of Interstate 70 were “completely” shut down, while one eastbound lane was also shut down.

An ABC 17 News reporter saw traffic slowly moving in one of the eastbound lanes at 11 p.m.
