GRAND ISLAND, Nebraska (KETV) — President Donald Trump signed an executive order expanding access to red-dyed diesel, a fuel typically reserved for off-road use.

“Tonight, I’m going to sign a historic executive order to officially waive the off-road requirement and allow anyone to purchase tax-free red-dyed diesel,” Trump said during his rally in Grand Island.

Red-dyed diesel is generally used in farm and construction equipment and is marked to distinguish it from fuel subject to highway taxes. There are no additional details of the order.
