YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KYMA) – Monday, October 5, is the last day for Arizona voters to register to vote for the November election.

After midnight, the registration deadline passes.

To register, Arizona residents must provide proof of U.S. citizenship and residency, with an Arizona driver’s license or state ID providing the information.

Yuma County Recorder David Lara has a message for anyone registering at the last minute: “Today is the last day to register to vote so I urge everybody to make that last push to get your voter registration in if you don’t have it in. Please, please vote because like i always say if you don’t vote someone else will vote for you.”

Meanwhile, Arizona State Treasurer Nick Mansour (D) is urging voters to register before the deadline, as well as used the moment to remind voters why their participation matters.

“Everything we do matters. Please register. please make your voice heard…Whether you vote for me or not, I say we are blessed to be in a state where your vote matters so please vote,” Mansour expressed.
