Big West Soccer: UCSB ties LBSU; Cal Poly defeats Cal Baptist

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (KEYT) –
UCSB 2, Long Beach State 2: Hailey Tyacke and Alondra Talamantes scored first half goals for UCSB in their Big West opener. The Gauchos extend their unbeaten streak to six games as they improve to 5-1-4 on the year. They host Sacramento State on Saturday at 6 p.m.
Cal Poly 2, Cal Baptist 1: The Mustangs Sam Liaty snapped a 1-1 game with a goal in the 69th minute. Madison Lujan scored in the first half as Cal Poly won their Big West opener and improved to 4-3-2 on the season.
