Palm Springs Fire Department to hold 9/11 remembrance ceremony

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (KESQ) – The Palm Springs Fire Department will hold its annual Never Forget 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony to honor the lives lost in the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks and remember the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice.
The ceremony begins at 8:30 a.m. Friday, September 11, at Palm Springs Fire Station 2, located at 300 North El Cielo Road. Guests are encouraged to arrive by 8:15 a.m.
The department invites community members to attend the ceremony and reflect on the legacy of those who lost their lives and the bravery of the first responders who ran toward danger that day.
Following the ceremony, attendees are invited to gather for coffee and donuts.
