LINTHICUM HEIGHTS, Maryland (WBAL) — Police arrested a Baltimore man who’s accused of shooting out a car window in an alleged road rage incident on the Beltway, according to Maryland State Police.
Brandon Allison, 40, of Baltimore, has been charged with attempted second-degree murder, loaded handgun in vehicle and other related charges, state police said. He remains held without bond at the Jennifer Road Detention Center.
Police said troopers were called for a shooting shortly after 2 p.m. Wednesday to the Outer Loop of the Beltway near the exit for the Baltimore-Washington Parkway. The Beltway was closed for about an hour during the investigation.
A preliminary investigation indicates that the driver of a Chrysler Pacifica, later identified by police as Allison, fired a shot at a Honda Accord, hitting the rear driver’s side window. The Honda’s driver was not injured, police said.
Investigators ultimately found the Chrysler at a warehouse off Brandon Woods Boulevard in the Pasadena area and arrested Allison. A loaded .40-caliber handgun was found in his car, police said.
Anyone who may have seen the incident is asked to call the Maryland State Police Glen Burnie Barrack at 410-761-5130. All callers’ identities may remain confidential.
