Outage leaves nearly 1,000 customers without power for several hours in Palm Springs

PALM SPRINGS (KESQ) – More than 900 Southern California Edison customers were without electricity today in Palm Springs.

The outage was reported shortly after 7 a.m. Thursday near the areas of East Janet Circle, East Grace Circle and portions of North Avenida Caballeros, according to the agency’s website.

The outage affected 985 customers due to a “dig into underground service,” according to the SCE website.

Power was set to return to most customers by roughly 9 p.m.
