CHP to conduct Labor Day Holiday Enforcement Period

IMPERIAL COUNTY, Calif. (KYMA) – As Labor Day weekend approaches, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) is asking drivers to be prepared.
CHP, in a press release, is conducting a Labor Day Holiday Enforcement Period Friday, September 4, at 6:01 p.m.
During that time, CHP said their officers will focus on getting impaired drivers off the road, and educating drivers about the dangers of driving under the influence.
The enforcement period will end at 11:59 p.m. Monday, September 7.
