Woman dies after tree falls on camper during severe storms

MARINGOUIN, Louisiana (WDSU) — The Iberville Parish Sheriff’s Office confirmed a death Thursday morning connected to severe weather that moved over the state.
According to the sheriff’s office, around 4:30 a.m., a tree fell on a camper in Maringouin.
A woman, identified as Cindy Perritt, 33, died after the tree fell on the camper on Sparks Lane.
No one else was in the camper at the time of the incident, according to the sheriff’s office.
