Columbia brings back glass recycling drop-off at landfill

Glass recycling is coming back in one form for Columbia trash customers.
The City of Columbia Utilities announced in a Friday press release that the city is partnering with Ripple Glass to off free glass recycling drop-off.
Residents can drop off glass food and drink containers in the Ripple’s bin at the landfill at 5700 Peabody Road.
Glass will still not be accepted for curbside collection and should not be placed inside residential blue recycle bags, the release says.
