Water main break in Jefferson City leads to street closure

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
A water main break on Thursday afternoon led to Jefferson City Public Works to close a road between East Capitol Avenue and East High Street.
The break was reported in the 200 block of Ash Street in Jefferson City, Public Works announced in press release.
The road will be closed and the water main is expected to be repaired the same day.
Signage will be posted in the area and drivers are asked to use alternate routes, the release says.
