San Elizario Marshal’s Office arrests man with multiple active criminal warrants

SAN ELIZARIO, Texas (KVIA) — A man in his 20s was arrested Tuesday under several active criminal warrants, the San Elizario Marshal’s Office said.
The marshal’s office said it arrested Isaac Isaiah Vargas near 13000 Alarcon Rd. near Ted Richardson Park.
Vargas reportedly had active warrants from the Socorro Police Department and the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
He faces one possession of a substance charge, two aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges, one vehicle burglary charge and one unlawful possession of a firearm charge, jail records said.
Authorities booked Vargas into the El Paso County Detention Jail.
