The party never ends: How Splash House Festival is approaching Weekend 2 after injuries during first weekend
PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (KESQ) — What changes are being made to keep festivalgoers safe this coming weekend at Splash House?
That’s the question facing organizers, officials, and attendees following an incident at the Palm Springs Air Museum during the festival-sanctioned after party early Sunday morning.
Palm Springs police say they were notified of the incident at 1:37 a.m. Sunday. Additionally, they said a glass bottle was thrown from the VIP section, injuring nine people. Seven were taken to a local medical facility, while two were treated at the scene.
Despite this incident, Splash House continued with it’s scheduled events later Sunday. Organizers are moving forward with the second weekend of the festival.
