Large police presence in East Columbia

Traffic was temporarily stalled Westbound on the I-70 connector near the off-ramp due to a large police presence in East Columbia Sunday Afternoon.
A Boone County Joint Communication was also sent around noon alerting drivers of the scene.
Just South of the detour, an ABC 17 News Reporter saw five Columbia Police Department cars at the Break Time in the 900 block of Conley Road. They also observed police putting up police tape at the Break Time at around 12:30 p.m.
The reporter also saw one police car and a black Toyota Corolla parked on the connector, but it is unclear how the car was related to the police scene.
ABC 17 News has reached out to CPD for details.
