It’s fair season in Mid-Missouri.
The Boone County Fair wrapped up last weekend, and this week, the Jefferson City Jaycees are putting on their Cole County Fair.
Fairs have their advantage — food, animals, carnival rides, entertainment. But they happen at the hottest time of the year.
