Watch Parties Win During World Cup Final

VENTURA, Calif. (KEYT) – FIFA watch parties at local bars and businesses happened indoors and out.
Some people watched on movie-sized screen like the screen in the Ventura Harbor.
Others crowded into their favorite bars.
Aqua Beachfront Bar in the Crown Plaza saw a boom in business.
Spain fans seemed to be outnumbered but never gave up hope.
Even the bartenders enjoyed it.
“It has been really good, it has been – bringing everybody together, it brings families together, everybody is really family friendly and I love that we all get together and share the joy of soccer,” said Kat Tafoya.
‘It has been a great game, I really think Spain is going to win and I do think Spain is going to make it,” said Ivan Escobar moments before Spain made the only goal of the match.
Businesses up and down the coast welcomed fans.
Most said it was great for business and that they will miss the sports.
