Central Oregon Special Olympics athletes prepare to head to State Summer Games

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) — Central Oregon athletes with Oregon Special Olympics will have their final practice Thursday before heading to the State Summer Games in Corvallis this weekend. Athletes will be competing in golf, bocce ball, and track and field.
The State Summer Games follow a successful USA Games in St. Paul, Minnesota for our local athletes, including Felicity Woods bringing home a gold medal in golf and the soccer team scoring bronze.
