Police investigating package explosion at Carpinteria UPS store

CARPINTERIA, Calif. (KEYT) – Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating a package explosion at the Carpinteria UPS store just after 2:30 p.m. Monday.
SBCSO deputies evacuated all nearby businesses and advised citizens to avoid the area from Taco Grande to the Goodwill.
The SBCSO continues to investigate the explosion, though no injuries have been reported from the incident.
