CEDAR FALLS, Iowa (KCCI) — The middle school that Detroit Lions linebacker Jack Campbell attended honored him Thursday as he recovers from a neck injury.

Peet Junior High in Cedar Falls encouraged its community to wear school and team colors in support of the Detroit Lions linebacker and former Iowa Hawkeye.

The school asked the community to show their support by wearing Peet, Cedar Falls High, Hawkeyes and Lions colors. Even nearby businesses got in on the show of support.

Campbell said on social media Wednesday that he has full movement in his lower body and is continuing to make progress with movement in his upper body.
