MONTEREY, California (KSBW) — A 46-year-old Monterey man was arrested again after more victims came forward and accused the spa and salon employee of sexual assault.

Monterey police confirmed to KSBW 8 that Shengfeng Wang, who was arrested in late October for the alleged sexual assault of a woman at GG’s Spa and Salon, was arrested again on Monday while out on bail.

The first alleged victim reported that she was sexually assaulted during a massage at the spa located on the 300 block of Calle Principal, police said.

The woman told officers that an employee sexually assaulted her during a massage, according to the Monterey Police Department. She told police that she confronted the employee and immediately called police.

Police added that Wang is not the owner of the spa.

The employee, Wang, had left the business before officers arrived. Police found him later that day in the 200 block of Dela Vina Avenue and arrested him without incident, the department said.

Wang was booked into the Monterey County Jail on suspicion of sexual penetration. His bail was set at $100,000 during his first arrest, but police said he was out on bail when he was arrested again.

Police said three more victims came forward after seeing news reports about Wang’s arrest. Wang was arrested at the spa Monday.

Police said two of the additional victims were women and the third was a juvenile girl.

Wang was booked into Monterey County Jail on new charges that include two counts of sexual battery of an unconscious person, lewd or lascivious acts with a child 14 or 15 years old, and misdemeanor sexual battery for sexual arousal. A bail enhancement was granted, bringing bail to $187,500, according to the Monterey County jail portal.

The case remains under investigation. Anyone with information can contact Lt. Ethan Andrews at 831-646-3822. Anonymous tips can be submitted at 831-646-3840.
