DES MOINES, Iowa (KCCI) — A judge says state officials cannot deny the Satanic Temple of Iowa a holiday display at the Statehouse.

The Iowa Department of Administrative Services has denied the group’s application for three years. The temple has sought to have a family-friendly display in the Capitol rotunda, along with other religious or civic groups.

A lawsuit was filed in August by the ACLU and other parties on behalf of the Temple.
