THOUSAND PALMS, Calif. (KESQ) — Voting can be a daunting task for many, especially this year, with multiple propositions for voters to understand.

While Election Day is Tuesday, there is still time to research the issues and make a plan to cast your ballot.

California voters face 14 statewide propositions on this year’s ballot, covering topics such as health care, housing and voter identification. For the first time since 1990, five of those measures deal specifically with taxes or tax rules, requiring voters to evaluate arguments on both sides before deciding on a yes or no vote.

Researching ballot propositions thoroughly is a priority for residents navigating the lengthy ballot. But News Channel 3 is helping you get informed and register.
