GRIMES, Iowa (KCCI) — A friendly rivalry in a Grimes neighborhood has turned into a competitive Halloween decorating contest, with neighbors vying for votes to claim the title of the spookiest house.
What started as a semi-sarcastic challenge from Ashlee Agan to her neighbors Jason and Tabatha Simonson has evolved into a full-blown battle for Halloween greatness.
After days of work and thousands of dollars, both houses are ready for judgment day — but they need your help to decide who will take home the gory glory.
