BALTIMORE, Maryland (WBAL) — Baltimore Ravens players visited James McHenry Elementary/Middle School this afternoon to hand out free winter coats to students selected for their hard work.

Nate Wiggins, Jacoby Lane, Trenton Simpson, and Chandler Rivers teamed up to distribute the coats, which were given to children chosen by their teachers and administrators as a reward for staying focused and doing the right thing.

“Yeah, this is just for one reason, and that’s because they stayed the course in school and did the right things,” rookie wide receiver Ja’Kobi Lane told WBAL-TV 11 News. “That’s why they get to reap the benefits, and I think just stressing that: Stay doing the right thing when nobody’s watching, and you get to do stuff like this.”

The students received more than just new coats. Some were lucky enough to get autographs, including one student who received a signed card from Wiggins.
