Train derailment in Doña Ana County closes roads through Friday

DONA ANA COUNTY, N.M. (KVIA) — A train derailed in Doña Ana County Tuesday, according to a county social media post.

The county posted a notice about the derailment around 2:30 p.m. Crews are on site to clear the area.
No injuries were reported.

Doña Ana County said Doña Ana Road from Lujan Road to Highway 187 is closed. Drivers should avoid the area. The county said roads are expected to reopen by Friday afternoon.
