Human Rights Campaign celebrates 25th anniversary of Palm Springs Garden Party
PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (KESQ) – A quarter-century of celebrating community and advancing LGBTQ equality in the Coachella Valley.
The Human Rights Campaign is marking the 25th anniversary of its Palm Springs Garden Party on November 7. This year’s event, called the “Silver Palm Edition,” will take place at the historic Dinah Shore Estate.
Acclaimed photographer and philanthropist Michael Childers will receive the Community Impact Award.
The annual fundraiser supports the organization’s work.
“The Human Rights Campaign is an organization working for LGBTQ equality across America. We are very fortunate to have an all-volunteer steering committee here in the Coachella Valley supporting the mission of the organization,” said Brian O’Connor, executive producer of HRC Garden Party.
Desert Chat’s Sandie Newton will host this year’s celebration and awards presentation. Click here for tickets and more information.
