West Broadway Walmart reopens after water problems

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The Walmart on West Broadway in Columbia was open Tuesday, a day after it was closed when water flooded the store.
The store was closed Monday, with workers telling ABC 17 News reporters that a water main broke and caused flooding. A Walmart spokesperson didn’t comment on the cause of the closure, merely saying the company treats safety as a top priority.
The Walmart website listed the store as open Tuesday, and a phone operator confirmed it was open as normal.
Columbia has three Walmart stores, with other locations on Grindstone Parkway in the southern part of the city and Conley Road in the northeast part of Columbia.
