Motorcyclist suffers serious injuries after crash in Desert Hot Springs Friday morning

DESERT HOT SPRINGS, Calif. (KESQ) – A motorcyclist is in the hospital with serious injuries after a crash Friday morning in Desert Hot Springs.

The crash was reported at around 10:45 a.m. on Pierson Boulevard and Atlantic Avenue.

Officers arrived on the scene, along with members of Cal Fire, and found the motorcycle driver on the shoulder of the roadway.

Police said investigators determined that the motorcycle driver ran a red light and collided into a vehicle traveling east on Pierson Boulevard.
