Suspect at large following shooting in Brawley
BRAWLEY, Calif. (KYMA) – The Brawley Police Department (BPD) said a suspect is a large following a shooting in Brawley.
BPD said the shooting happened before 9 p.m. Monday in the area of C Street and N. Second Street, near Brawley Christian Academy.
Upon arrival, BPD said officers found an underage girl suffering a gunshot wound, and said she was taken to the hospital and is currently in stable condition.
However, the suspect, described by BPD as wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt, khaki pants and a red bandana, remains at large, and was last seen running away.
The investigation remains ongoing.
