Sick child airlifted near border for medical care
DONA ANA COUNTY, N.M. (KVIA) — A sick child was airlifted near the border in Santa Teresa, Doña Ana County Public Safety said Monday.
Doña Ana Fire Rescue, Sunland Park Fire Department and Native Air received a call about the sick child. Crews worked together to assess and care for the child. Native Air took the child to a local hospital for medical care.

“We’re proud of the coordination and dedication shown by all of the responding agencies,” Doña Ana County Public Safety said on Facebook. “Calls involving children are never easy, but the teamwork between our local fire and EMS partners helps ensure patients receive the care they need when every second matters.”
