SIG Alert issued after semi-truck overturns on WB I-10 near Whitewater rest area

WHITEWATER, Calif. (KESQ) – The #4 lane on the westbound side of Interstate 10 near the Whitewater Rest Area will be shut down for several hours after a semi-truck overturned Friday evening.
The incident was reported at around 6:15 p.m.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the #4 lane is expected to be shut down until just before 9:45 p.m. The incident is causing slow down in the area.
There was no word on whether there were any injuries.
