Alamogordo delivery driver wins dream SUV with DK sweepstakes
ALAMOGORDO, N.M. (KVIA) — An Alamogordo woman drove away from a routine gas pump in the Jeep she’s wanted since childhood!
Thursday, DK Fuel presented Jessica Salazar a new Jeep Wrangler after she won the company’s summer Kick for the Keys Sweepstakes.
Salazar uses her personal vehicle for work as a delivery driver. DK said she discovered the promotion while filling her gas tank at her usual spot in Alamogordo. She burst into tears when she heard she won.
DK said Salazar always wanted a Jeep, but that dream fell out of reach after years of driving used vehicles and buying what she could afford.
The win also came after what she described as a difficult year following her brother’s death.
When she received her new Jeep keys, Salazar said it was the “perfect” size for her.
