Dons football takes center stage at Santa Barbara Athletic Round Table luncheon
SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (KEYT) – The Santa Barbara Dons are still enjoying their latest Big Game win over San Marcos.
Keegan Roessler picked up his Gary Blades Memorial Big Game MVP trophy after catching four touchdown passes in the Dons 48-3 victory. The 6’4 sophomore had 9 receptions for 142 yards.
Dons junior quarterback Griffin Arnold was named Boys Athlete of the Week after throwing for a Big Game record 7 touchdown passes. He won the Big Game MVP award as a sophomore after tossing 5 touchdown passes in last year’s win. The Dons are 41-24-1 all-time versus the Royals.

Dos Pueblos senior flag football star Brooklyn Hedricks crashed the Dons party by winning the Girls Athlete of the Week. She caught 3 touchdown passes and pulled 15 flags in the Chargers 21-0 rivalry win over San Marcos.
