Suspect arrested in connection with Rexburg stabbing

REXBURG, Idaho (KIFI)– A person is in custody after a stabbing took place at a residence on S 2nd E.
On Sept. 19, around 8 p.m., Rexburg Police Department received a report of a stabbing. The victim received medical treatment for the wounds.
Officers identified the suspect and obtained a search and arrest warrant.
The Upper Valley Special Response Team (SRT) executed the warrants at the suspect’s home and took the suspect into custody at the Madison County Jail on charges of Aggravated Battery.
The SRT includes authorities from the Rexburg Police Department, Madison County Sheriff’s Office, St. Anthony Police Department, Fremont County Sheriff and Teton County Sheriff.
