FIND Regional Food Bank: Finding new ways to fill growing hunger needs

INDIO, Calif. (KESQ) – September is Hunger Action Month, and staggering numbers show that 1 in 6 people experience food insecurity in the Coachella Valley.

As our Telemundo anchor Hernan Quintas reports, the FIND Regional Food Bank is finding new ways to try to help fill the gap as those numbers grow.

FIND’s Hunger Action Drive is Saturday, Sept. 19 at the Palm Springs Police Headquarters on 200 S Civic Drive and the Palm Desert YMCA. The event at both locations will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
