SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (KEYT) –
Dos Pueblos 27, Ventura 6: Ruby Streatfeild threw both of her touchdown passes to fellow senior Brooklyn Hedricks as the Chargers won their Channel League opener. Makayla Watt had an early pick-six to spark DP who improved to 12-2 on the season.
Oxnard 13, San Marcos 12: Victoria Aldana tossed two touchdown passes to Piper Kittle but the Royals lost a late lead on the road to begin Channel League play.
Pacifica 6, Santa Barbara 2: Shea Gannon had 3 quarterback sacks to lead the Dons defense but the offense struggled in a road loss to open up the Pacifica View League.
