Boone County firefighters find stranded boat on Missouri River

Boone County firefighters have recovered a boat that was drifting down the Missouri River on Thursday morning.
Boone County Fire Protection District boats launched from ramps in southern Boone County after a call about a stranded boat that lost power came in Thursday morning. No injuries were reported.
By about 11:30 a.m., firefighters had found the stranded boat and were taking the boater to the Huntsdale access, according to Boone County Fire Battalion Chief Marc Carr.
