Albuquerque police find fake police car with weapons and gear

Albuquerque (KOAT) — Albuquerque police are investigating after officers pulled over a black Crown Victoria that appeared to be a fake police car.
According to the Albuquerque Police Department, officers found light bars, police radio equipment, a PA system, ammunition, a ski mask, and a sawed-off shotgun inside the vehicle.
Police said the driver is a convicted felon.
APD recommends calling 911 if you are unsure whether a traffic stop is legitimate.
