City of Columbia services, office hours affected by Labor Day holiday
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
City of Columbia offices will be closed in observance of Labor Day, and some services will be affected as well.
The city council will meet Tuesday instead of Monday, according to a Facebook post from the city.
Curbside trash and recycling won’t be picked up on Monday; pickup will be delayed by a day. The landfill is also closed for the holiday.
Public transportation, including fixed bus routes, Paratransit and MU Tiger Line, won’t be running. However, city parking will be free Monday.
The Columbia/Boone County Health Department will be closed and will reopen normally on Tuesday.
The Activity and Recreation Center will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and the Albert-Oakland Family Aquatic Center will open at noon and close at 5 p.m.
All Daniel Boone Library locations will be closed Sunday and Monday.
