Artists open doors for Art Walk at the Shores
OXNARD, Calif. (KEYT) Art lovers enjoyed the annual Art Walk at the Shores in Oxnard Shores.
More than 45 artists opened their studios, homes, garages and driveways to show off art for sale.
Flags, signs and balloons and maps helped lead the way.
Some people rode their bikes from show to show.
Many people bought works of art to display in their homes.
Nancy Brown showed her art at the home of her art teacher Susan Seaberry.
“Friends come they really see what you do in your along time when you are working because they have no idea they learn about you as an individual and it is the beach, it is beautiful to be out and about meeting new people just experiencing all of it,” said Brown.
Artist Don Fay showed off more than a thousand painting and drawings.
Fay’s friends and family plan to show it off again on Sunday on Amalfi Way during a celebration of his 99th birthday.
