PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) – Before the fair gates open for the first time at 11 a.m., our KRDO13 crew was on the inside with the inside track on what you can expect to see over the course of the next 11 days.

Big As Yo’ Face cinnamon rolls

Stubbys Cinnamon Rolls are a staple at the Colorado State Fair. In a new location this year by the pig barn, these massive rolls of fried dough will still take your taste buds to new heights.

Not your average “sand castle”

“Sand Castle” doesn’t do it justice. These massive sand sculptures take a team of trained artists to create and look more fit for a museum than a beachside.

The ‘TV GOAT’ and petting zoo friends

Everyone’s favorite attraction. The petting zoo! They’ll come up and beg for food whether you have it or not, but they’re all forgiving and will settle for a few good head scratches. Not even the cameraman is safe!
